Executive Leadership Role

Chief Chaplain & Executive Director — Asia-Pacific

Directing, administering, and developing the operations of La Familia Simón Foundation Singapore and CAP-537 Volunteer Chaplain Services across Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.

Purpose of the role

Direct, administer, and develop the operations of La Familia Simón Foundation Singapore and CAP-537 Volunteer Chaplain Services in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region — providing the executive leadership needed to establish, grow, and sustain the Foundation's regional presence.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct regional operations across Singapore and Asia-Pacific.
  • Implement the regional strategic plan.
  • Supervise chaplaincy programs and volunteer chaplains.
  • Coordinate institutional partnerships with hospitals and community organizations.
  • Manage the regional operating budget.
  • Report to the Board of Directors on program and financial performance.
  • Coordinate with La Familia Simón Foundation in the United States.
  • Develop policy, ensure compliance, and manage organizational risk.
  • Represent the Foundation publicly across the region.
  • Develop educational and training programs for volunteer chaplains.
  • Build regional partnerships and support fundraising and grant relationships.
  • Oversee human resources for regional staff and volunteers.
  • Lead Asia-Pacific expansion planning and impact measurement.

Authority of the role

  • Recommend hiring and volunteer appointments.
  • Propose annual budgets to the Board.
  • Sign agreements within authorized limits.
  • Supervise all regional programs.
  • Represent the organization to external parties.
  • Present strategic proposals to the Board of Directors.
  • Manage institutional partnerships and daily operations.
